Details from the occurrence are still limited, however, according to the Sun-Sentinel, Cabrera was detained after police stopped at his vehicle, which was pulled off to the side of the road, with smoke coming from under the hood.
Cabrera was "heavily slurring" his words, had an open container of liquor with him, and was served additional charges for resisting police orders.
According to the St. Lucie Sheriff's Department, Cabrera was released at 7:38 Thursday morning.
