Matt Hoffman blew his second save of the season, but picked up the win when Toledo scored three runs in the top of the 10th. The Mud Hens scored two runs in the top of the ninth and led by three entering the bottom frame. With two outs and one on, Hoffman hit a batter. Then Audy Ciriaco had a throwing error to extend the game. Back-to-back singles tied the game for Louisville. Hoffman was credited with one earned run and a blown save. But Six Mud Hens reached base in the top of the 10th, resulting in three runs. Rob Waite gave up an earned run in the bottom of the inning, but a got a double play to end the game and pick up the save. Quintin Berry went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Brad Eldred went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored.
AA Erie Seawolves

Jay Voss got the start, but left the game after one inning due to an unspecified injury. He gave up a run in the first inning, so he picked up the loss. Ramon Garcia gave up three earned runs in three innings out of the bullpen. Erie scored two in the bottom of the seventh, but Trenton scored one in the eighth and ninth innings to pull away. Bryan Pounds went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Nick Castellanos went 2-for-3 with a double, but the Flying Tigers were shut out for the second straight game. Kevin Eichhorn gave up three earned runs over four innings, earning the loss. Wade Gaynor went 1-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch. Lakeland had just six hits but went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.

Tommy Collier gave up two earned runs on three hits over six innings and picked up his first win of the season. Jason Krizan went 1-for-2 off the bench with a solo home run. Aaron Westlake went 2-for-4. Steven Moya went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Ramon Lebron and Michael Torrealba combined for three scoreless innings out of the bullpen, with Lebron giving up one hit and one walk.
