Making his first Triple-A start of the season, Shawn Teufel gave up two earned runs over 5 2/3 innings, picking up the win. He gave up just four hits, but walked five batters. Brad Eldred went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs. Ryan Strieby went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Lakeland finally got to play a game after having its last three games canceled. Alex Burgos gave up five earned runs over 5 1/3 innings to drop to 1-3 on the season. Avisail Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Daniel Fields went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Nick Castellanos went 2-for-4.

Dean Green and Eugenio Suarez homered as West Michigan scored five runs over the seventh and eighth innings to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 6-3 win. Suarez went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Tommy Collier gave up three earned runs over six innings, but earned a no decision. Jade Todd was credited with the win out of the bullpen and Michael Torrealba gave up one hit in the ninth and picked up the save.
