Jared Wesson gave up one earned run over seven innings to pick up the win. Wesson gave up just four hits and one walk and had eight strikeouts in the 10:35 a.m. start. Niuman Romero went 4-for-6 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Jordan Lennerton went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks and two RBIs.

Wade Gaynor went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs as the Flying Tigers won the slugfest. Matt Crouse went 2 2/3 innings in the start, giving up two earned runs. Luis Sanz gave up three earned runs in 2 1/3 innings of relief, but picked up the win. Bruce Rondon gave up two walks over two scoreless innings to earn the save. Avisail Garcia went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs and two runs scores.

Wilsen Palacios gave up five earned runs over 5 2/3 innings and recorded the loss. Curt Casali had three of West Michigan’s four hits, going 3-for-4. Eugenio Suarez (1-for-2) had the other hit. Steven Moya left the game with an injury in the bottom of the first after he pulled up lame chasing a fly ball.
