Ben Guez went went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, four RBIs and a run scored to lead the Toledo offense. Jacob Turner allowed one earned run over 6 2/3 innings to pick up his first win of the season for the Mud Hens. Ryan Strieby went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run. Jeff Frazier went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored.

Kevin De La Cruz gave up one earned run over five innings, but recorded the loss without any help from the offense or the bullpen. David Kopp gave up two runs (one earned) over two innings of relief, while Austin Wood gave up three unearned runs in 2/3 of an inning. Brandon Douglas went 2-for-4, while Nick Castellanos went 1-for-4.

Alfred Gutierrez entered the sixth with the Tigers leading 1-0, but allowed five earned runs in the inning and picked up the loss. Anthony Castro had pitched five hitless and scoreless innings, while walking one and striking out six. Franklin Navarro went 2-for-2 with a double and two walks, while Carlos Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run.
