Adam Wilk gave up three earned runs over eight innings, but the two he allowed in the seventh turned a lead into a deficit and he ended up taking the loss. Jerad Head went 2-for-3 with a double an RBI and a run scored, while Argenis Diaz went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

James Avery gave up three runs (two earned) over seven innings to move to 7-5 on the season. James McCann went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Michael Rockett went 3-for-4 with a solo home run. Robbie Weinhardt gave up an unearned run in the ninth (after his own error) and the tying run reached second, but he picked up the save.

Chad Wright went 1-for-3 with a triple, three RBIs and a run scored to lead the West Michigan offense. Steven Moya went 1-for-4 with another home run, this one a two-run shot. Thomas Collier allowed one earned run on five hits over seven innings to move to 5-5 on the season, Nicholas Avila pitched two shutout innings of relief. Brandon Loy went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored.
