Nick Castellanos fell a single short of the cycle in his best game since joining the SeaWolves. Castellanos went 3-for-4 with a home run, triple, double, three RBIs and two runs scored. James Avery allowed four runs (one earned) over eight innings and picked up the win. Avery allowed seven hits and walked none, along with five strikeouts. Bryan Pounds went 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBIs and a run scored. Bruce Rondon pitched a perfect ninth and recorded the save in his Erie debut.
