AAA Toledo Mud Hens
33-51, 3rd in West Division
Thad Weber allowed one earned run on six hits over seven innings and picked up the win. Bryan Pounds went 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs to lead Toledo at the plate, while Bryan Holaday went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Chris Bootcheck allowed one hit over the final 1 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up the save.
AA Erie Seawolves
40-42, T-4th in Eastern Division
Tyler Stohr allowed a run in the bottom of the 12th and picked up the loss. Patrick Cooper gave up three earned runs over 6 1/3 innings in the start. Niuman Romero went 2-for-5 with a run scored, while Jordan Lennerton went 1-for-2 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored. Erie went 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
6-4, T-1st in North Division
Tyler Collins went 3-for-4 and a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored to lead the Flying Tigers. Shawn Teufel gave up two earned runs over 5 1/3 innings in the start. Victor Larez allowed six unearned runs in the seventh, but was still credited with a hold. Matt Crouse allowed one hit and picked up the save.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
7-5, T-2nd in Eastern Division
Jason Krizan went 4-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored to lead West Michigan at the plate. Kyle Ryan allowed two earned runs on four hits over six innings and picked up the win. Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored, while Chad Wright went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer.
5-11, T-3rd in New York-Penn League Stedler
Endrys Briceno allowed two runs (one earned) over five innings, but picked up the loss without help from the offense. Danry Vasquez went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. Eric Heckaman allowed one earned run over three innings of relief, and Angel Nesbitt gave up one earned run in one inning.
Angel Vasquez gave up five earned runs on 11 hits over five innings and fell to 1-2 on the season. Jose Rodriguez allowed two unearned runs over three innings of relief. Carlos Perez went 2-for-4 with a run scored, while Orvin Tover went 2-for-4.
10-15, 5th in San Pedro de Macoris
Confesor Lara allowed two earned runs in the top of the life, blowing a save and recording the loss. Four of the five Tigers pitchers allowed at least one earned run. Felix G. Santana went 3-for-5, while Lenny Pena went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.
10-4, 2nd in GCL North
Austin Schotts went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored to lead the Tigers at the plate. Nick Carmichael picked up the win after giving up one earned run over 5 1/3 innings. Harold Castro went 1-for-4 with two runs scored.
