Ramon Garcia allowed seven earned runs over two-plus innings as the Mud Hens pitching was blitzed. Luke Putkonen and Zach Miner allowed a total of three runs over the next five innings. But it got worse, as infielder Bryan Pounds allowed six earned runs in the eighth without recording an out. Outfielder Matt Young came in an allowed another earned run. At the plate. John Lindsey went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored, while Jerad Head went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Devon Travis hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 18th to give the Tigers the win. Vermont had scored once in the top of the inning. Travis went 3-for-7. Montreal Robertson went seven innings in the start, allowing two runs (one earned), while striking out eight. Eric Heckaman gave up the one run over two innings of relief and picked up the win. Tyler Hanover went 2-for-7 with an RBI.

In the first game, the teams picked up in the second inning after Monday's game was suspended with the Tigers leading 5-1. Eudris Idrogo began Tuesday's affair and gave up just one hit and one walk over three scoreless innings and picked up the win. Arvicent Perez went 2-for-4 with two doubles, four RBIs and one run scored.
