Patrick Cooper gave up five runs on 11 hits over six innings and picked up the loss. Michael Morrison allowed five earned runs in one inning of relief. Tony Plagman went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI, while Avisail Garcia went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Jason Krizan singled home Eugenio Suarez in the bottom of the ninth to cap a comeback win. The Whitecaps tied the game with two runs in the bottom of the eighth. Jeff Ferrell gave up two earned runs over five innings in the start, and Daniel Bennett recorded the win with a scoreless ninth. Krizan went 1-for-4, while Suarez went 0-for-2 with a walk.
