AAA Toledo Mud Hens
44-69, 3rd in West Division
Thad Weber allowed three earned runs over six innings and fell to 6-10 on the season. Jose Ortega gave up one earned run in two innings of relief. Andy Dirks went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Danny Worth went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored.
AA Erie Seawolves
50-61, 6th in Eastern Division
The SeaWolves scored two in the top of the 17th and held on for the marathon win. Jordan Lennerton went 3-for-6 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored, while Jamie Johnson went 2-for-7 with three RBIs and a run scored. Patrick Cooper gave up two earned runs over seven innings in the start, but Michael Morrison picked up the win, throwing two perfect innings to finish the game.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
21-19, 4th in North Division
Alex Burgos threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings and picked up his eighth win of the season. Burgos gave up six hits and walked three. Wade Gaynor went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer and two runs scored, while Marcus Lemon went 4-for-5 with two triples and two runs scored.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
19-20, T-5th in Eastern Division
Jeff Ferrell threw seven perfect innings with six strikeouts and recorded the win. Ferrell threw 79 pitches before coming out. The Whitecaps were two outs away from a combined perfect game before the first base hit for Lake County. At the plate, Brandon Loy went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored, while Jeff McVaney went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored.
18-25, 3rd in New York-Penn League Stedler
Devon Travis went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, two RBIs and three runs scored. Hua-Wei Lo allowed one unearned run over five innings and picked up the win. Zach Kirksey went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs, while Tyler Hanover went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBIs and three runs scored.
The Tigers' game against the Phillies was postponed.
22-26, 3rd in San Pedro de Macoris
Sandy Acevedo went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to lead the Tigers at the plate. Harold Rosario went five innings in the start, allowing one earned run. Juan Falcon was credited with the win after 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief. Confesor Lara allowed one hit in a scoreless ninth for his 10th save. Sandy Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
25-13, 1st in GCL North
In the first game of the doubleheader, Thursday's game was postponed in the fifth inning, but the score didn't change for the rest of the day. Julio Felix pitched all five scoreless innings on Friday and picked up the win, allowing two hits. Harold Castro went 3-for-4 with a run scored, while Alwin Delgado went 1-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs.
In the second game, Jake Thompson allowed one earned run over 2 2/3 innings in the start and recorded the loss. Preston Jamison gave up two earned runs in 3 1/3 innings of relief. At the plate, Harold Castro went 2-for-3, while Andrew Longley went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored.
