Luke Putkonen allowed six runs (five earned) over 3 2/3 innings in the start and picked up the win. Justin Henry went 2-for-4 with an RBI, while Argenis Diaz went 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Ramon Garcia gave up four earned runs over five innings in the start and recorded the win. Daniel Fields went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Brandon Douglas went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers

The Flying Tigers scored two in the bottom of the eighth and held on for the win. Dean Green led the offense, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Warwick Saupold allowed five earned runs over three innings in the start and Matt Crouse picked up the win with two scoreless innings of relief. Hernan Perez went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run scored.

Kyle Ryan gave up two runs (one earned) over five innings and recorded the loss. Michael Torrealba gave up four runs (two earned) in the sixth inning. Lance Durham went 1-for-3 with a double, while Jeff McVaney went 1-for-4.
