Erie MLN: A Flat Finale

Erie hoped to end the 2012 season on a high note, but unfortunately the club lost its last five games to end the year. The ‘Wolves dropped their final road game to Bowie 6-8 and then returned to the Port City where the team was swept in a four game series against Altoona.

Erie played very flat in the final week of the season. There was very little "pep" and enthusiasm in the team's final week performances. The lack of enthusiasm was reflected on the scoreboard where the team was outscored 12 -26. Erie also gave up the "big inning" to their opponents this past week, causing the team to trail their opponents and play from behind, which was a leading cause in the club... Recommended Stories
