AA Erie Seawolves

A strong effort from Erie's offense gave the SeaWolves a much needed win over Binghamton on Wednesday, topping the Mets 11-4. Starting pitcher Victor Larez improved his record to 4-0 with the win, giving up three earned runs on seven hits in seven innings on the mound. The heart of the order drove in five runs for Erie on Wednesday as Ramon Cabrera drove in three runs on a 3-for-5 night, Tyler Collins went 2-for-4 with a homerun and two runs driven in and James McCann drove in a run. James Robbins also drove in two runs in the win.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
11-14, 4th in North Division
Lakeland's game against Charlotte was cancelled due to rain.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
11-13, 5th in Eastern Division
West Michigan started its homestand off in desirable fashion on Wednesday against Western Division-leading Cedar Rapids, topping the Kernels 7-2. Hudson Randall earned a no decision in his start despite a strong outing, giving up two earned runs on three hits in six innings of work. Brennan Smith improved his record to 2-0 in relief, surrendering no runs on two hits in three innings on the mound. Austin Schotts had a big game offensively for the ‘Caps, going 2-for-4 with a homerun and two runs drive in in the win. Bennett Pickar also drove in two runs for West Michigan.
