AAA Toledo Mud Hens
19-38, 4th in West Division
Strong pitching and a five-run inning were all Toledo needed against Louisville on Saturday as the Mud Hens topped the Bats 6-0. Starting pitcher Casey Crosby was electric in his second win of the season, shutting out Louisville on two hits and striking out eight over 6 ? innings. Argenis Diaz had a big night at the plate out of the leadoff spot, going 2-for-5 and driving in two runs in the win.
AA Erie Seawolves
31-23, 1st in Western Division
Erie gave up two runs in the first inning of Saturday's game against Richmond and could not recover as the SeaWolves fell to the Flying Squirrels 5-2. Starting pitcher Victor Larez fell to 5-2 on the season after allowing four earned runs on eight hits in 4 ? innings. Daniel Fields had a strong night at the plate for Erie, hitting two doubles and driving in two runs in the loss.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
21-32, 6th in North Division
Play was suspended in the fourth inning due to rain.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
26-26, 4th in Eastern Division
West Michigan and Fort Wayne were tied after 10 innings before the Whitecaps scored three runs in the top of the eleventh but Jose Valdez allowed four runs in the bottom of the same inning to give the Tin Caps an 8-7 walk off win in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader. Starting pitcher Jake Thompson took a no decision in his 2013 West Michigan debut, allowing three earned runs on 9 hits over 5 ? innings. Valdez earned his first loss of the season in relief. Jared Reaves had a huge night offensively for the ‘Caps, hitting two solo home runs while also drawing two walks on a 2-for-3 night. Six different West Michigan players drove in at least one run in the loss.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
27-26, 4th in Eastern Division
After falling in an extra innings thriller in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader West Michigan had a strong display of pitching in the second game as the Whitecaps topped the Tin Caps 3-1. Starting pitcher Endrys Briceno earned his second win of the season after surrendering just one earned run on six hits in six innings of work. Danry Vasquez knocked in his third home run of the season, a solo shot out of the leadoff spot. Adolfo Reina also drove in two runs in the win.

7-9, 4th in Venezuelan Summer League
The VSL Tigers did not play on Saturday.
R DSL Tigers
1-0, 1st in Dominican Summer League San Pedro de Macoris
After falling behind 1-0 through the first inning the DSL Tigers produced a strong display of offense in their season debut, topping the Brewers 6-3. Starting pitcher Sandy Baez earned his first win of the season in the start, giving up one earned run on two hits over five innings. Pedro Aybar earned his first save of the season in the win. Francisco Contreras had a huge outing offensively in his season debut, belting his first run of the season and driving in four runs on a 3-for-3 night at the plate.
