2013 DSL Tigers Preview

Falcon used a great 2012 year to a stateside move

Despite staying in the thick of things all summer in 2012, the DSL Tigers came up short of a playoff spot, finishing with a 30-34 record while owning a roster with an average age under 19-years old. This year's version has only ten members of the roster in their 20s, and includes six players that are still just 17-years old.

Behind the plate the club will be led by Sandy Rodriguez who has one of the stronger defensive profiles among the Tigers Latin American catching prospects. He also works good at-bats and has some modest potential at the plate; something the club is hoping he will begin to show in 2013 after hitting just .183 last summer.
