AAA Toledo Mud Hens
20-40, 4th in West Division
Toledo fell behind 8-0 after two innings of Tuesday's series opener against Columbus and couldn't make a comeback despite a seven-run fifth inning as the Mud Hens fell to the Clippers 11-8. Starting pitcher Shawn Hill fell to 0-7 on the season with the loss after allowing seven earned runs on eight hits in just one inning of work. In total, six Toledo pitchers took the mound in the loss. Danny Dorn had a big game for the Mud Hens offensively, going 2-for-4 with a home run and four runs driven in in the loss. Nick Castellanos also hit his eighth home run of the season on a solo shot.
AA Erie Seawolves
32-24, 1st in Western Division
Erie held a 7-4 lead late in Tuesday's series opener against Portland but the Sea Dogs pushed the game into extra innings with a three-run eighth inning. The SeaWolves had the last laugh, though, scoring the winning run in the bottom of the twelfth inning to prevail 8-7. Ramon Garcia earned a no decision in the start, allowing four earned runs on seven hits over 4 ? innings of work. Justin Souza improved his record to 4-1 with the win in relief. Tyler Collins led the charge offensively for the SeaWolves, drawing two walks and driving in two runs on a 1-for-4 night at the plate.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
23-34, 6th in North Division
Lakeland took advantage of a strong performance from starting pitching in Tuesday's game against St. Lucie as the Flying Tigers shut out the Mets 5-0. Starting pitcher Hudson Randall had his best start since being promoted to Lakeland in improving his record to 1-5, shutting out the Mets on four hits over eight innings while striking out four. Mike Hernandez was electric at the plate out of the designated hitter spot, going 2-for-4 with a home run and four runs driven in.

27-28, 4th in Eastern Division
West Michigan did not play on Tuesday.
R VSL Tigers
8-11, 4th in Venezuelan Summer League
The VSL Tigers held a 9-9 tie with the Rays after nine innings of Tuesday's game but a run from the Tigers in the eleventh inning proved to be the game winner as the Tigers topped the Rays 10-9. Alfred Gutierrez earned a no decision in the start after allowing six unearned runs on five hits over three innings. Johan Bellisario improved his record to 2-1 after earning the win in relief while Adenson Verastegui earned his first save of the season. Gabriel Tenia was strong at the plate for the Tigers, falling just a home run short of the cycle on a 4-for-5 night at the plate in which he drove in three runs. Jose Ovalles also drove in three runs in the win.
R DSL Tigers
3-0, 1st in Dominican Summer League San Pedro de Macoris
The DSL Tigers continue to be hot early in the Dominican Summer League season, remaining undefeated after Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Orioles. Gregory Soto earned a no decision in the start after shutting out the Orioles on one hit over four innings. Janry Obispo earned his first win of the season after blowing the save in relief while Pedro Aybar earned his league-leading third save of the season. Manuel Joseph hit his first home run of the season on a 2-for-5 night in which he also had a double and drove in two runs.
