Toledo fell behind after allowing four runs in the fifth inning of Sunday's game against Pawtucket as the Mud Hens fell to the Red Sox 7-2. Starting pitcher Pat Misch fell to 2-5 on the season after earning the loss, allowing five earned runs on six hits over 6 ? innings. Argenis Diaz gave Toledo some pop at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and a run driven in in the loss.
AA Erie Seawolves
38-35, 2nd in Western Division
Erie tied Sunday's game against Binghamton 2-2 but gave up five unanswered runs as the SeaWolves fell to the Mets 7-2. Starting pitcher Matt Crouse fell to 4-6 on the season with the loss after allowing five earned runs on eight hits over five innings. Jamie Johnson kept Erie in the game at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double and a run driven in.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
31-40, 5th in North Division
Lakeland fell behind in the first inning of Sunday's game against Daytona and could not come back as the Flying Tigers only tallied three hits in a 6-1 loss to the Cubs. Starting pitcher Wilsen Palacios fell to 3-5 on the season with the loss, allowing three earned runs on six hits over 5 ? innings. Francisco Martinez was the lone Lakeland hitter to drive in a run on Sunday, going 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk in the loss.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
35-39, 4th in Eastern Division
West Michigan fell behind by three runs through one inning of Sunday's game against Fort Wayne before putting up 12 unanswered runs as the Whitecaps topped the TinCaps 12-6. Starting pitcher Endrys Briceno improved his record to 4-4 with the win, allowing three earned runs on six hits over five innings. Jeff Holm was one of several ‘Caps hitters to have a big day at the plate, going 2-for-5 while driving in four runs in the win. Devon Travis and Jake Stewart each drove in three runs for West Michigan with Stewart hitting his seventh home run of the season.

Connecticut and Tri-City went into extra innings in a scoreless tie before the Tigers allowed five runs in the tenth inning, falling to the ValleyCats 5-2. Jonathan Maciel earned a no decision in his start, pitching a shutout while allowing one hit in 1 ? innings. Brett Huber fell to 0-2 on the year after earning the loss in relief. Ben Verlander led the Tigers' at the plate, going 1-for-4 and driving in two runs in the loss.
