AAA Toledo Mud Hens

Toledo and Scranton-Wilkes-Barre each scored one run and the seventh inning of Thursday's game but neither team would score again until the bottom of the twentieth inning as the Mud Hens fell to the RailRiders 2-1 in 20 innings. Jose Alvarez earned a no decision in the start after allowing one earned run on 11 hits over seven innings. Justin Souza gave up the game-clinching solo home run out of the bullpen to earn the loss. Danny Dorn drove in the lone run for the Mud Hens and hit a triple in a 3-for-7 night at the plate while Nick Castellanos and Avisail Garcia combined to go 0-for-17 with seven strikeouts. In all, six of Toledo's hitters in the starting lineup combined to go 0-for-45 with 19 strikeouts.
AA Erie Seawolves
53-49, 2nd in Western Division
Erie scored four runs in the first three innings of Thursday's series opener against Bowie and relied on pitching to carry the rest of the load as the SeaWolves topped the BaySox 4-0. Starting pitcher Matt Crouse had a strong game in improving his record to 6-8, shutting out Bowie on three hits over eight innings. Brandon Douglas had a two-run double in the win while Ramon Cabrera and Daniel Fields each drove in a run.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
43-52, 5th in North Division

Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
49-53, 5th in Eastern Division
West Michigan fell behind by two runs early in Thursday's game against Fort Wayne before scoring four unanswered runs as the Whitecaps topped the TinCaps 4-3. Starting pitcher Jake Thompson earned his first win of the season after allowing two earned runs on five hits over five innings. Corey Knebel earned his seventh save of the season. Connor Harrell had a big night at the plate, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the win.

30-14, 1st in Dominican Summer League San Pedro de Macoris
The DSL Tigers held a late three-run lead in Thursday's game against the Blue Jays before giving up six runs in the eighth inning, falling to the Blue Jays 9-6. Starting pitcher Stanley Martinez earned a no decision after allowing two earned runs on four hits over 3 ? innings. Rafael Manzanillo fell to 3-1 after earning the loss in relief. Domingo Leyba had a solo home run in the loss, his third of the season.
R GCL Tigers
17-9, 1st in Gulf Coast League
The GCL Tigers carried a 3-3 tie into extra innings in Thursday's game against the Yankees before scoring three runs in the top of the tenth, topping the Yankees 6-4. Preston Jamison earned a no decision in the start, allowing two earned runs on six hits over five innings. Brett Huber improved his record to 2-1 with a win out of the bullpen. Steven Fuentes led the way offensively, going 1-for-3 with a two-run double in the win.

28-32, 4th in Venezuelan Summer League
The VSL Tigers held a three run lead before allowing eight unanswered runs in Thursday's game against the Cubs, falling to the Cubs 8-3. Starting pitcher Jose Rodriguez fell to 2-2 with the loss after allowing seven earned runs on 9 hits over 4 ? innings. Andres Sthromes drove in two runs on a 2-for-3 night at the plate.
