Toledo couldn't sustain an early one-run lead in Thursday's game against Louisville as the Mud Hens gave up five unanswered runs, falling to the Bats 5-2. Starting pitcher Jair Jurrjens fell to 6-9 with the loss, allowing three earned runs on five hits over six innings. Ronny Paulino had a pinch-hit home run in the loss, his second of the season.
AA Erie Seawolves
69-61, 2nd in Western Division
A three-run fourth inning proved to be the difference for Erie in Thursday's game against Harrisburg as the SeaWolves topped the Senators 4-1. Starting pitcher Ramon Garcia improved to 1-4 with the win, allowing one earned run on four hits over seven innings. Melvin Mercedes earned his eleventh save of the season. Daniel Fields went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple in the win.

56-63, 2nd in North Division

Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
60-67, 6th in Eastern Division
West Michigan gave up an eighth inning run to break a 3-3 tie in Thursday's game against Bowling Green as the Whitecaps fell to the Hot Rods 4-3. Jeff Thompson earned a no decision in the start, allowing three earned runs on five hits over 4 ? innings. Guido Knudson fell to 1-2 after earning the loss in relief. Dean Green went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the loss.
A Short-Season Connecticut
28-32, 4th in Stedler Division
Connecticut held on to an early lead in Saturday's game against Aberdeen as the Tigers topped the IronBirds 5-3. Buck Farmer earned a no decision in the start after shutting out Aberdeen on one hit over three innings. Logan Elhers improved to 3-1 after earning the win in relief and Zac Reininger earned his eighth save of the season. Javier Azcona drove in two runs on a 1-for-4 night.
R DSL Tigers
46-20, 1st in Dominican Summer League San Pedro de Macoris
The DSL Tigers jumped out to a 5-1 lead after two innings of Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays and did not relent as the Tigers topped the Blue Jays 5-2. Starting pitcher Carlos Lara improved to 3-2 with the win after allowing one earned run on four hits over five innings. Jesus Guzman earned his eighth save of the season in the win. Five players each drove in one run for the Tigers in the win.
R GCL Tigers
29-21, 2nd in Gulf Coast League
The GCL Tigers scored six runs in the sixth inning of Wednesday's game against the Braves to take a commanding lead as the Tigers topped the Braves 9-4. Starting pitcher Confesor Lara improved to 2-2 with the win after allowing after allowing one earned run on 9 hits over six innings. Tim Remes hit two home runs and drove in three for the Tigers on a 3-for-4 night at the plate.
