HiA Lakeland Tigers - TAMPA 4, LAKELAND 1
28-24, 3rd in West division
Errors were once again a problem for Lakeland, as they fell 4-1 to Tampa on Wednesday. Andrew Kown turned in a strong start, giving up two runs (one earned) over seven innings, but his offense was nowhere to be found, and reliever Danny Zell would give up a pair of runs as well, one earned, one unearned. Brent Dlugach had an especially rough night, committing three errors for the club. Jeff Larish provided the only offense, a solo homer in the 9th inning. They now travel to Brevard County to start a four game series, with the opener on Thursday at 7:00pm.
