AAA Toledo Mud Hens - DURHAM 8, TOLEDO 7

Toledo lost a shootout-style game on Monday night, falling 8-7 to Durham. Jordan Tata got a no-decision as the starter, giving up five runs (three earned) over five innings. Chris Spurling came on in relief in the 7th protecting the lead, but couldn't hold as Durham crossed the plate three times to take the lead and eventually, the game. Mike Rabelo and Mike Hessman each had a home run and combined to drive in five runs. Josh Phelps also went 3-for-5 with two RBI. Toledo takes on Durham again on Tuesday at 7:00pm.

AA Erie SeaWolves – PPD: RAIN
58-75, 6th in Southern division
Erie was once again rained out on Monday evening, but this time, they'll make the game up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday. They face Trenton on Tuesday at 7:05pm.

HiA Lakeland Tigers – LAKELAND 6, DUNEDIN 5
29-34, 5th in West division
Lakeland ties it up in the 9th and wins in the 12th
6-5 over Dunedin. Down by four going into their last at bat, the L-Tigers rallied to score four runs. James Essian, Clete Thomas, and Juan Francia all had an RBI.
Francia scored the game-tying run on a wild pitch. In the 12th, Francia reached base on a fielding error and later scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch.
Eddie Bonine started and threw 7 2/3 strong innings allowing three runs. Kevin Whelan got the win (4-1) by throwing three scoreless innings. Lakeland plays Dunedin again Tuesday night at home at 7:00pm.

A West Mich. Whitecaps – W. MICH. 3, LANSING 1
42-21, 1st in Eastern division
Sendy Vasquez picked up another win as he led the Whitecaps to a 3-1 victory over Lansing on Monday night. Vasquez gave up a run on three hits over six innings, including an impressive nine strikeouts. Mark Haske and Will Rhymes each had an RBI in the 4th inning, and Mike Hollimon capped off the scoring in the 6th with a solo homer, his 15th of the season. Anthony Claggett took the ball in the 9th and sat down the Lugnuts 1-2-3 for his 12th save. The 'Caps host Lansing again on Tuesday at 7:00pm.

SS-A Oneonta Tigers – ONEONTA 11, TRI-CITY 4
36-29, 2nd in Stedler division
The O-Tiger offense exploded on Monday evening to get Oneonta an 11-4 victory. Duane Below got the start and a no decision, allowing four runs (three earned) over 5 2/3 innings. Randor Bierd came on in relief and picked up the win for pitching 1 1/3 scoreless innings. The offense didn't start off hot, but picked it up as the game went on, culminating in a seven run 8th inning to put the game away. Ronnie Bourquin had two hits and three RBI, while Scott Sizemore added three hits, scored two runs, and drove in two more. Santo de Leon, Jeff Kunkel and Deik Scram also each had a pair of hits. Oneonta hosts Tri-City on Tuesday at 7:00pm.

R GCL Tigers – END OF SEASON

The GCL Tigers closed the season as North division champs, but fell in the playoffs to the GCL Dodgers.
