Both Toledo and West Michigan saw their games postponed due to the massive amounts of rain that ran through the midwest, meanwhile, Luke French pitched a gem of a game for Lakeland on Tuesday evening.

AAA Toledo Mud Hens – SUSPENDED: RAIN
17-21, 4th in West division
The Toledo Mud Hens are back in town but Tuesday's game was suspended due to rain in the bottom of the second inning. Louisville leads the 'Hens 2-0 at the delay. The two teams will face off tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. for a Wednesday matinee at Fifth Third Field.

AA Erie SeaWolves – TRENTON 4, ERIE 2
18-16, t-2nd in Southern division
A four run first inning was enough for the Trenton Thunder to beat the Erie SeaWolves by a score of 4-2. Starting pitcher Eulogio De La Cruz suffered the loss allowing all four runs in the first inning before settling down. De La Cruz pitched seven innings allowing five hits and two walks while striking out seven. The SeaWolves scored once in the third and once in the fourth but could not get any closer. Clete Thomas was 1-for-3 with a RBI on a sacrifice fly that scored Jackson Melian who was 1-for-4. In the fourth Jeff Larish hit a double off the left field wall and eventually scored on a RBI single by Kody Kirkland who was 1-for-4. The SeaWolves and Thunder will play the second game of the series on Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. Eddie Bonine (3-1, 3.19 ERA) will take the mound for Erie and Brett Smith (3-1, 1.24 ERA) will pitch for Trenton.

A+ Lakeland Flying Tigers – LAKELAND 2, SARASOTA 1
15-23, 5th in West division
The Flying Tigers notched their second consecutive victory Tuesday night as they beat the Sarasota Reds 2-1. Starting pitcher Luke French pitched six innings while surrendering zero runs and striking out four. He was then relieved by Derek Witt who pitched two scoreless innings, and then Freddy Dolsi who registered his fifth save of the season. On the offensive end, Lakeland earned a victory despite putting only four base hits on the board. Most notably, Ovandy Suero batted 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, adding to his FSL league leading total. The two teams will wrap up their series on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. Eleazar Aponte will most likely make the start for Lakeland, while Sarasota’s pitcher has yet to be announced.

A West Mich. Whitecaps – PPD: RAIN
20-16, 2nd in Eastern division

West Michigan's game against Great Lakes in Midland was postponed Tuesday due to inclement weather. It will be made up in Comstock Park at Fifth Third Field as part of a double header on June 11, scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. The Whitecaps will have Wednesday off before starting a four-game series against the Swing of the Quad Cities in Davenport, IA on Thursday.
