Scram Enjoying Success in West Michigan

Scram is playing his first full year with the Caps

Deik Scram was off to a slow start in the Midwest League. The Tigers' 18th round pick of the 2006 draft was batting as low as .120 in mid-April for the West Michigan Whitecaps. But after a slight adjustment, Scram caught a groove and his average rose; fast.

From April 21 through May 6, Deik Scram went on an 11 game hitting streak which raised his average to .344 at its peak.
