TigsTown May Players of the Month

Scram dominated the Midwest League in May.

The Tigers organization offered plenty of choices for Player of the Month, as the warmer weather led to hot bats all over the system. Among them were some of the usual suspects like Gorkys Hernandez, Cameron Maybin, Jack Hannahan, and Jeff Larish. Despite the success of the aforementioned crew, none of them managed to take home a monthly honor in May.

Starting at the organization's highest level, infielder turned outfielder Ryan Raburn spent the entire month raking. His .290 average for the month boosted his yearly total to .265 heading into June, while he also slugged an impressive .590 in the season's second month.
