Timo Perez was named the Star of Stars for the International League All Star team on Wednesday evening with a huge game for the club - Mike Hessman had a big night as well. Meanwhile, the Eastern League All Star game got 'fogged out', but not before the two SeaWolves could put their mark on the game.

AAA Toledo Mud Hens – IL 7, PCL 5
52-39, 1st in West division
The International League topped the Pacific Coast League 7-5 in the Triple-A All Star Game, with plenty of help from the Mud Hens, including Timo Perez being named the IL Star of Stars (International League All Star Game MVP). Perez went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. He also got the scoring started in the first with an RBI double. And Mike Hessman, in his typical power fashion, blasted a two run home run. The ‘Hens will return to action on Thursday, hosting Richmond at 7:00pm.

AA Erie SeaWolves – AS GAME CANCELLED
49-39, 2nd in Southern division
In a strange turn of events, the Eastern League All Star game was cancelled in the third inning due to a thick fog that set in. Before the game was cancelled though, both SeaWolves made a contribution. Dallas Trahern got the ball to start the game, and gave up one unearned run in an inning of work. Jackson Melian meanwhile was responsible for both of the South’s runs, bringing them both home. The SeaWolves get back into action on Thursday when they host Bowie at 7:05pm.

SS-A Oneonta Tigers – ONEONTA 4, STATE CLG. 1
11-11, 3rd in Stedler division

Alfredo Figaro picked up his second win of the season, pitching seven shutout innings as he led Oneonta to 4-1 win over State College. Figaro also struck out three and walked three in his outing. Chris Carlson got the scoring started in the second inning, ripping a two run home run, which turned out to be all Oneonta would need, though they would add two more runs in the seventh for insurance. Casper Wells, Mike Sullivan and Justin Henry each had two hits for the O-Tigers. The two teams square off again on Thursday at 7:05pm in State College.

R GCL Tigers – TIGERS 5, BLUE JAYS 2
