R GCL Tigers – YANKEES 4, TIGERS 3
25-29, 5th in North division
The GCL Yankees edged out the Tigers on Monday afternoon 4-3. The Tigers out-played the Yankees virtually the entire game, but one costly error in the sixth let two runs score when it would have been the third out, and then later on in that inning a two run homer. All fours were unearned and came off of Wilton Garcia, who got his first loss of the season. Brandon Hamilton got a no decision as the starter, pitching four shutout innings. Christopher White had two hits, a run and an RBI, while Hayden Parrott and Joe Bowen each drove in one as well. The Tigers hope to get back in the win column on Tuesday against the GCL Indians at noon.
