Ready to talk Tigers? Want to hear the opinion of the TigsTown staff on some of the hot button topics of the offseason? Welcome to the TigsTown Roundtable! This week's question: What are you thankful for as a Tiger fan?

Paul Wezner, Executive Editor
As a Tiger fan, there are any number of things we can be thankful for. We have a beautiful state-of-the-art stadium. An owner willing to spend the money for a winner. A general manager we can have faith in. A manager who doesn't make head scratching moves left and right. An MVP runner-up in Magglio Ordonez. One of the best young pitchers in the game in Justin Verlander. A developing star centerfielder that doubles as one of the nicest guys in baseball. And most of all, be thankful for a team that you enjoy watching and a team that you feel does right by you. After years and years of frustration, the Tigers are a team you can be proud of.

Mark Anderson, Managing Editor
I'm thankful for a team that I can believe in, that provides me with athletes I can look up to, and athletes young individuals in the Detroit area can look up to. When you fill a team with class acts like Curtis Granderson, Carlos Guillen, Magglio Ordonez, and Placido Polanco, you have provided your fan base with a group of players who exemplify role models. I'm truly thankful that the team has placed a high value on quality individuals, from the front office to the field crew, and the Detroit team to the lowest minor league level. Being a fan of an organization that prides itself on excellence and a commitment to the community is a true joy. With that, a warm thank you goes out to the Detroit Tigers, for providing everything a fan could ever be thankful for throughout the year.

Jason Avery, Associate Editor, Amateur Baseball
As a Tiger fan, I'm thankful for the recent success the team has had after going through a brutal 15-year stretch where poor baseball was the norm. I'm thankful that the Tigers have a general manager that isn't afraid to pull the trigger and move forward with tough decisions, and an owner that's willing to spend money to make his team better, even if it angers the establishment. I'm thankful that I follow one of sports' hallowed franchises, and that I also get the opportunity to cover the next generation of Tigers stars from the start of their professional careers. I want to close by wishing all of our posters, subscribers, and everyone affiliated with TigsTown a happy Thanksgiving!
