TigsTown MLN: LFT Battling the Rain

Dontrelle has been making changes in Lakeland

The Flying Tigers were an even 3-3 for the second week in a row, making their record 15-13 while still maintaining second place in the FSL West. Rain was a constant interruption to the team this week, forcing them to play two double-headers. When they actually were able to play, the spotlight was on former first round pick Rick Porcello and also Dontrelle Willis.

The major highlight of the week came from a combined no-hit, seven inning game by the Flying Tigers pitching staff headlined by top prospect Rick Porcello. The nineteen year old pitched five hitless innings but was still credited with an earned run.
