All good things must come to an end. The ‘Caps started the week on fire winning four straight in their sweep of the Great Lakes Loons. Loons pitcher, Justin Miller was holding a no-hitter into the ninth inning August 8, but an inside pitch to Chris Carlson ended his hopes with a three-run blast that lifted the West Michigan to a 3-2 victory. The Whitecaps finished their road trip at 5-5.
