Coming into the 2007 season, the Flying Tigers carried with them a new name and a promising group of young players. In addition to top prospect Cameron Maybin, Lakeland flaunted a number of characters from the 2006 Midwest League champion West Michigan Whitecaps. On top of all these great new additions, young southpaw Andrew Miller was ready to return to the team as well.
