Breaking their streak of three straight weeks of an even record, the Flying Tigers made great advances in catching the Dunedin Blue Jays by posting a record of 5-3 on the week. Overall, the club improved to 23-19 on the second half of the season. Several impressive pitching performances as well as a few hot bats contributed greatly to the cause.
