Adam Wilk gave up four earned runs over seven innings and didn't get any help from the offense, picking up the loss. All four runs came in the fourth innings, and three of them were scored on one swing of the bat. Quintin Berry went 1-for-4 with the lone RBI for Toledo, which didn't record an extra-base hit. Rob Waite gave up one hit over two scoreless innings of relief.

High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers

Victor Larez gave up an unearned run in the eighth, breaking a 5-5 tie and St. Lucie held on for the win. Tyler Collins went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and Nick Castellanos went 2-for-3 with two walks and a run scored. But the Flying Tigers went 2-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left nine runners on base. Luis Marte gave up one hit and struck out three over two scoreless innings in his first rehab appearance with Lakeland.

Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
19-22, T-6th in Eastern Division

Wilsen Palacios gave up two earned runs over seven innings, picking up the win. The teams were tied at two after seven innings, but West Michigan finished with a pair of two-run innings sandwiched around a one-run frame for Great Lakes.Dean Green went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Jeff Ferrell gave up one earned run over two innings of relief, but picked up the save.

1-3, 3rd in Eastern Division

Anthony Castro allowed four runs (two earned) over 3 2/3 innings in the start, but ended up with a no-decision in this back-and-forth affair. Only six of the 18 frames in the game didn't include a run scored. The Mariners scored in seven separate innings. Luis Cedeno ended up with the loss after giving up two earned runs in just 2/3 of an inning. Gabriel Tenia went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored.
