An eager team falls short again in midweek matchups — the Toledo Mud Hens can't seem to find a groove besides a losing streak after giving up three straight to Scranton and a game to Syracuse.

Individuals capitalized on personal progress through the week, but as a whole, the team is not yet a well-oiled machine. The Mud Hens sit a half game out of first place in the International League West behind the Indianapolis Indians. Overall Toledo is 23-21 so far this season.
