Jason King went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBIs to lead the Whitecaps in the win. Marcelo Carreno gave up one earned run over five innings in the start and recorded the win. Melvin Mercedes allowed one earned run over 1 1/3 innings of relief and picked up the save. Gabriel Purroy went 3-for-4 with a double.

Efrain Nieves pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings of relief and recorded the win. Nieves gave up one hit and struck out four. Edgar Corcino went 1-for-4 with a triple, three RBIs and a run scored, while Carlos De Los Santos went 3-for-5 with a run scored.
