AAA Toledo Mud Hens
30-41, 4th in West Division
Toledo and Syracuse ended the ninth inning in a 4-4 tie before the Mud Hens put up four runs in the tenth inning, topping the Chiefs 8-4. Derek Hankins earned a no decision in the start, allowing one earned run on four hits over six innings. Brayan Villarreal improved his record to 2-0 after earning the win in relief while Bruce Rondon earned his thirteenth save of the season. Ben Guez led the way offensively for Toledo, going 2-for-5 with a home run and four runs driven in in the win. Brad Davis also homered for the Mud Hens.
AA Erie Seawolves
36-31, 1st in Western Division
A day after Erie had the biggest game of its season at the plate against New Hampshire the SeaWolves allowed 22 runs on 23 hits, falling to the Fisher Cats in a lopsided 22-1 final. Ryan Robowski earned his first loss of the season in the start, allowing seven earned runs on seven hits over two innings. James Robbins drove in the lone run for the SeaWolves on a solo home run, his third of the season and second in as many games.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
30-35, 5th in North Division
Lakeland did not play on Sunday.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
33-37, 4th in Eastern Division
West Michigan fell behind 4-1 after the first inning of Sunday's game against Fort Wayne and couldn't catch up as the Whitecaps were doubled up by the TinCaps 10-5. Starting pitcher Edgar De La Rosa fell to 3-2 on the season with the loss, allowing eight earned runs on 9 hits over 3 ? innings. David Gonzalez led the way offensively for West Michigan, going 2-for-4 with two runs driven in in the loss.
