AAA Toledo Mud Hens

Toledo utilized a strong offensive performance in Friday's game against Pawtucket, racking up eight hits as the Mud Hens topped the Red Sox 8-5. Starting pitcher Derek Hankins was impressive in improving his record to 3-3, allowing one earned run on eight hits over six innings of work. Danny Dorn led the way offensively, going 1-for-3 with a double and three runs driven in for the Mud Hens. Danny Worth also drove in two runs in the win.
AA Erie Seawolves
38-33, 1st in Western Division
After falling behind by two runs early in Friday's game against Binghamton the SeaWolves put up five unanswered runs, topping the Bees 5-2. Starting pitcher Kyle Lobstein improved his record to 7-4 with the win, allowing two earned runs on six hits over eight innings. Justin Souza earned his fifteenth save of the year in the win. Hernan Perez only needed one hit to make an impact at the plate for the SeaWolves, notching his fourth home run of the season while driving in two runs.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
30-39, 6th in North Division
Friday's game against Clearwater was postponed due to rain.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
34-38, 4th in Eastern Division
West Michigan couldn't overcome a five-run deficit in Friday's game against Great Lakes despite a strong offensive charge as the Whitecaps fell to the Loons 9-7. Edgar De La Rosa earned a no decision in the start, allowing five earned runs on five hits over four innings. Logan Elhers fell to 0-5 on the year after earning the loss in relief. Jake Stewart was hot at the plate for West Michigan, going 1-for-4 with a home run and three runs driven in in the loss.
A Short-Season Connecticut
0-4, 4th in Stedler Division
Connecticut continued its struggles at the plate to start the season in Friday's game against Vermont as the Tigers fell to the Lake Monsters 4-1. Starting pitcher Jonathon Crawford earned a no decision in his professional debut, shutting out Vermont and keeping the team hitless over two innings while striking out three. Tanner Bailey fell to 0-1 on the season after earning the loss in relief. Duncan McAlpine was the lone Connecticut hitter to notch an extra base hit, going 1-for-4 with a double in the loss.

13-5, 1st in Dominican Summer League San Pedro de Macoris
The DSL Tigers continued their skid in Friday's game against the Nationals, allowing five runs in the fourth inning to fall 9-6. Starting pitcher Gregory Soto earned a no decision after allowing one earned run on one hit in ? innings. Harold Rosario fell to 0-1 on the season after earning the loss in relief. Willy Adames led the way offensively for the Tigers, going 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in the loss.
R GCL Tigers
1-0, 1st in Gulf Coast League
The GCL Tigers overcame a one-run deficit in Friday's season opener against the Yankees by scoring two runs in the eighth inning, prevailing in a 4-3 final. Starting pitcher David Paulino earned a no decision in his season debut, allowing two earned runs on five hits over five innings. Calvin Drummond earned his first win of the season in his professional debut while Ricardo Ciriaco earned his first save of the season. Ismael Salgado led the charge at the plate for the Tigers, going 2-for-3 with two runs driven in in the win.
