Bad Break In AFL

Which Tigers' player suffered a bad break on Thursday? UPDATED

Second baseman Scott Sizemore, who was expected to compete for the starting job in Detroit in 2010, suffered a broken tibia in a collision at second base in his game on Thursday.

Sizemore is returning to Detroit and is done for the Arizona Fall League.

No word yet on how this will affect Sizemore and his availability for the 2010 season.

Stay tuned to TigsTown for the latest on this developing story.

10/25 UPDATE: While Sizemore will miss the remainder of the AFL, he's only expected to be out for about six weeks, initially being in a walking cast. Expectations are that barring any setbacks, Sizemore will be 100% by the time spring training starts up in February. Recommended Stories
