Erie MLN: Furbush Adjusts, 'Wolves Get Going

The Erie SeaWolves are happy to be out of the month of June. After going just 5-22 (0-12 at home) during the month Erie returned home and produced some fireworks. The ‘Wolves (36-51) completed the last week with a 5-3 record after a four game sweep of the Bowie Baysox (45-42).

At first it looked like the beginning of July would be a lot like June as Erie lost 3-of-4 games at The Diamond against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (41-46). Brooks Brown recorded the only win for Erie in a 6-0, complete game shut out on July 3. It was Brown's Eastern League leading third complete game of the season.
