Inge Feels Good, Ready to Return to Detroit

Whether you're a West Michigan Whitecaps fan, a Detroit Tigers fan, or both, you've probably felt as though you've been on a bumpy ride throughout this season. Fortunately for both ball clubs, a glimmer of hope may be on the horizon.

For the Whitecaps, that hope came in the form of a relatively surprising rehab start by Tigers 3B Brandon Inge on Tuesday at home against Great Lakes. Inge, whose hand was broken after it was hit by a pitch from Texas Rangers righty Scott Feldman in a game on July 19, was expected to miss about four to six weeks with the injury.
